Impossible things on an unreasonable scale

Some entertainment fits neatly inside a suitcase.

Other entertainment requires a crane.

Cirque Um Navigate creates large-scale escapes, endurance spectacles and theatrical stunts designed to capture the attention of an entire field.

These are not ordinary stage acts made slightly bigger. They are singular event moments developed around a location, an audience and one magnificent question:

Can they actually do that?

The Crane Escape

A sealed box. Fifty feet in the air. Very little time.

For one of our largest live stunts, Kat was locked inside a sealed box and suspended approximately 50 feet beneath a crane.

With the audience watching from below, she had to escape before time ran out.

The scale allowed the stunt to dominate a large outdoor space, while a live video feed gave the audience a close view of the escape unfolding inside the box.

Years of development and preparation led to one enormous shared moment—and a particularly strong incentive to remember where the key was hidden.

The Ice Queen

A frozen-alive spectacle awaiting the right kingdom

The Ice Queen was developed as a theatrical frozen-alive stunt: an elegant figure surrounded by hundreds of dollars’ worth of ice, facing an increasingly impossible escape.

Although the original public performance did not proceed, the concept, character and striking visual world were brought to life during development.

The Ice Queen remains a spectacle waiting for the right venue, audience and conditions.

Rather than offering a long list of identical stunts, we can work with event organisers, festivals and creative producers to develop a spectacle suited to a particular location or occasion.

These are creative directions, not interchangeable off-the-shelf acts. Every concept must be assessed, developed and approved for its particular site and circumstances before it can be confirmed for performance.

Built for the Crowd

A large stunt should be more than a difficult thing happening far away.

We consider how the audience discovers the challenge, understands the danger and follows the story as it unfolds.

Depending on the scale, that may involve an MC, countdown, theatrical characters, live cameras or a video feed allowing thousands of people to see the crucial details.

The stunt is only one part of the experience.Suspense is the other.
