Magic

Start with laughter. End with wonder.

For more than 30 years, magic has remained at the heart of Cirque Um Navigate.

We have performed in living rooms, school halls, theatres, festival stages and in front of audiences numbering more than a thousand. The scale may change, but the purpose remains the same: gather people together and let them experience something impossible.

Our shows combine sleight of hand, visual magic, audience participation and theatrical illusion—presented with old-school charm and a genuine love for the craft.

Why Magic?

Magic creates a feeling unlike any other form of entertainment.

For a moment, an entire audience forgets to be sensible. Children lean forward. Adults begin looking for secret trapdoors. Strangers turn to one another wearing the same delighted expression.

It crosses ages, backgrounds and languages because wonder needs very little explanation.

We don’t perform magic simply to fool people. We perform it to create that shared moment when everybody knows the impossible cannot have happened—and also knows that they just saw it happen.

Stage Magic

Remarkable things from surprisingly little luggage

Our Stage Magic Show combines sleight of hand, comedy, visual magic and audience participation in one adaptable performance.

It can be presented in an intimate room, a school hall, on a theatre stage or busking-style in the middle of a festival crowd. The show is designed to travel efficiently while still creating enough impact to entertain a large audience.

Depending on the occasion, it can be playful and family-focused, polished for a corporate event or shaped into a theatrical feature for a festival program.

Audience volunteers become part of the impossible without being embarrassed or made the target of the joke.

The aim is for them to return to their seats looking like heroes—or at least people who have survived something deeply peculiar.

Grand Illusion

When the magic needs to fill the stage

Grand illusion brings Kat and Benny together for a larger theatrical spectacle filled with classic mysteries, modern presentation and impossible feats.

People appear from nowhere. Others vanish in smoke. Bodies are divided into pieces with a concerning lack of paperwork.

Our collection includes the great traditions of stage illusion, reimagined with Cirque Um Navigate’s particular mixture of elegance, comedy and theatrical mischief.

A Grand Illusion Show is ideal when you want a major feature performance that looks substantial on a large stage and gives the entire audience one shared experience.

We begin with laughter and build towards “Wow.”

Parlour Magic

Intimate magic for a gathered audience

Parlour magic sits between close-up magic and a full stage production.

The audience gathers for a structured show, but the performance remains personal and immediate. It is well suited to private gatherings, heritage venues, cocktail events and smaller spaces where subtle magic can have an enormous effect.

Guests see every movement—and remain no closer to an explanation.

Magic Without Borders

Much of our magic is highly visual, allowing it to be enjoyed by audiences with different language backgrounds.

Expert sleight of hand, object manipulation and illusion can communicate directly through action and expression. Where an event includes international visitors or a diverse community audience, we can recommend material that relies less on spoken presentation and more on pure visual impossibility.

A Show for Your Audience

No two audiences need precisely the same performance.

We’ll consider:

  • The ages and interests of your guests

  • Audience numbers

  • Venue size and sightlines

  • Available stage and backstage space

  • Sound, lighting and production facilities

  • Indoor or outdoor presentation

  • The tone and schedule of the event

We can then recommend a format that fits—from an intimate magic show carried in a suitcase to a full theatrical production with grand illusions.

Where Our Magic Appears

Our shows are available for:

  • Festivals and agricultural shows

  • Theatres and community venues

  • Schools, vacation care and OOSH

  • Corporate functions and gala dinners

  • Clubs and hospitality venues

  • Weddings and private celebrations

  • Family fun days

  • Seasonal and themed events

Impossible Things Require Proper Planning

A Stage Magic Show can be remarkably flexible. Grand illusion requires more space, preparation and technical coordination.

For larger productions, we’ll work with your venue or production team to confirm access, staging, lighting, sound and safety requirements. Special effects are always subject to the venue, conditions and relevant approvals.

The magic should surprise the audience.

The practical arrangements should not surprise anybody.
